About Montana Poppy
I began my journey into wedding florals in 1992 when I designed the flowers for one of my best friend's weddings. My future mother-in-law, who taught me floral design starting in high school, played a significant role in shaping my skills. I later worked in her flower shop, and even though she has retired from the business, we still collaborate on weddings from time to time.
Amidst working in the flower shop, raising children, and navigating life, I pursued a degree in Interior Design and studied Color Theory. This fusion of floral design and interior design has enabled me to master the use of texture, color, and composition in my floral work. My love for weddings began in childhood. The flowers, the dress, the flowers...and helping to create someone else's dream is what makes this all worthwhile.
I have had the honor of being a featured vendor in Rocky Mountain Bride, featured on The Knot, WeddingWire, and Zola. In spring of 2024, I was recognized as an honoree in Marquis Who's Who for Florists.
During the day, you’ll find me assisting clients with interior design projects. However, my true passion lies in creating stunning floral arrangements for my wedding clients. I am fully committed to providing each couple with an exceptional experience and the most beautiful, personalized designs.
I am dedicated to continuous learning, constantly studying and seeking instruction from mentors and industry leaders. I believe that creativity is boundless when you step outside the box. The most magical moments happen beyond the boundaries of what is expected.
